Failure to Pay Wages upon Termination
Upon termination, an employer has a set window of time in which to pay you all remaining wages. This includes regular hours as well as unpaid overtime, meal and rest periods, etc. If an employer fails to pay you your final wages within that window, California law imposes penalties on the employer.
